Every tier bills on what you carry — how many matters live in your spine, how many agent front doors you've opened — never on how much you think with the model. BYOK means your model spend is yours, at cost, routed to whichever provider you choose, with no markup sitting between you and the invoice. The free tier is free because of that: Spine costs us pooled compute and storage, not inference.

Sovereignty on this ladder is portability, your own keys, and a real exit at every rung — not a hardware requirement. Export works the same whether you're on Spine or Enterprise. Hardware isolation — your own box, your own hardware, air-gapped — is a rung you climb to when operational access needs to change hands, not the definition of sovereignty itself.

Spine and Studio are pooled infrastructure, and we say so plainly rather than burying it in a footnote. Sovereign and above move you to a dedicated box, provisioned once and yours to operate, export, or take outright. The ladder exists so the choice is legible — you pick the rung that matches what you're actually protecting.
